Mega Heaters Has Been Operating Since 1977.
Mr. Rampala Ranasinghe was the founder of the company.
A visionary entrepreneur, Mr. Rampala Ranasinghe was the founder of Mega Heaters and had the vision to build a business and not just a product. He wanted to make heating systems affordable for all Sri Lankans irrespective of their economic status. The company was established in 1977.
The company has grown to be one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality heaters in Sri Lanka with exports reaching to over 15 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.

He was the first person to create a first immersion heater in Sri Lanka. and focused to develop as a business.

July 1st 1977
Mega Heaters was established on 1977 July by Mr. Rampala Ranasinghe. The company has been involved in the production of high quality and durable heaters for over three decades, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and product quality. Mega Heaters is a leading manufacturer of gas heaters, oil heaters and electric heaters in Sri Lanka.

The journey of excellence from 2005 started a new journey with the second generation of the mega heaters. The company has evolved to do new manufacturing and found new opportunities and developed with new innovations.

The company has received several awards over the years for being innovative and providing excellent service to its clients. They have also been recognised by the industry as one of the best heating companies in Sri Lanka. And Mr. Upali Jayssekara (Chairman / Managing Director) was awarded by several awards and out of them he was awarded as the best entrepreneur of the year for several years.
45th Anniversary of Mega Heaters
2022
Mega heaters are celebrating their 45th anniversary in 2022. The company has been around for 45 years and is still going strong. In the past 45 years, they have made a lot of improvements to their products and have created new ones as well. They have also expanded into providing other heating solutions various industries in sri lanka and for international market.
